Before & After School Care

The doors to the church hall open at 7:20 a.m.  Students will need to enter the church hall through the alleyway between the school and the church.

The After Care Program provides a safe environment for children where they are able to socialize, and work cooperatively with their peers.  The teacher(s) in the After Care Program will facilitate, guide and direct students as they work or play alone and/or cooperatively with others.

The hours of our program are from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on regular school days only.

The fees for the program are $3.50 per child per hour.

The program ends at exactly 5:30 P.M.  Parents must be at school before 5:30 P.M. to take their child home.  If this policy is not adhered to, there will be a late charge of $10 for every ten minutes that the child is left waiting with the teacher.  If the parent is aware that they may possible be late, they should contact the After-School Program at 872-2258 extension 220.  If no phone call is received, the school will call the person listed by the parent as the emergency person to arrange for pick-up of the child.

  1. Each student is expected to participate in all activities to the best of his/her abilities.

A child should be released only to parents or to an individual who has been authorized by the parents to pick up the child.

Parents or their designated person will be contracted if children experience signs of illness during the After Care Program.  They will be requested to pick up their child immediately.  As a policy our school does not dispense medication during the time of the After Care Program.
