Before & After Care
Before School Hours
The doors to the Church Hall open at 7:20 a.m. Students will need to enter the Hall through the alleyway between the school and the church.
Our Purpose
The After Care Program provides a safe environment for children to socialize and work cooperatively with their peers. The Program’s teacher(s) facilitate, guide, and direct students as they choose to work/play alone or in groups.
Hours
The After Care Program runs from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Program is only available on regular school days and your child must be picked up no later than 4:00 p.m.
Cost
Program Fees are $4.00 per child, per hour.
Late Fees
There will be a late charge of $10 for every ten minutes that a child remains waiting after our 5:30 p.m. closing.
If you are aware that you may be late, please contact us at 219-872-2258, ext 220.vIf we do not receive a phone call, we will call your listed emergency contact to arrange for pick-up of your child.
Children will only be released to their parent/guardian or to an individual the parent/guardian has authorized to pick up the child.
Health & Safety
If your child shows signs of illness during After Care, we will contact you, or another person designated by you, to pick up your child. Your child will need to be picked up immediately. As a policy, we do not dispense medication during the After Care Program.
Program Rules

Each student is expected to participate in all activities to the best of their ability.

All students must stay in the supervised area.

Students are to respect adults and other students.

Students are to respect the property of others, the parish, and the After Care Program.

Each student is expected to help clean up and generally straighten the room.
